Book the Best Alaskan Adventure with Alaska Trophy Outfitters

Thank you for your interest in Alaska Trophy Outfitters. We specialize in Guided fishing and hunting adventures here in Alaska. We are based out of Soldotna, Alaska, which is in the heart of the Kenai Peninsula about 150 miles South of Anchorage by vehicle or a short 25 minute commuter flight.

The fishing is second to none on the Kenai Peninsula and no where else in Alaska will you have opportunities like you do at an affordable price. We are home to the World Famous Kenai River, which produced the World Record King Salmon that tipped the scales at 97 pounds & 4 ounces! We launch our halibut boats out of Ninilchik, just North of Homer and fish the Cook Inlet and Gulf of Alaska. On the Eastern side of the Kenai Peninsula is Seward, another incredible Salt Water fishery. We spend most of the month of August in Seward targeting Silver Salmon, Ling cod, Black Sea Bass and Yellow Eye Rockfish.

Our hunts are conducted in multiple places throughout the state, depending on game being sought after. We specialize in Brown/Coastal Grizzly and Black Bear Hunts and do take a limited number of Moose, Goat and Sheep hunters annually. We are a very small and personalized outfitting business and only take a handful of hunters per year.

Frank Sanders Owner of Alaska Trophy Outfitters

I grew up on a Cattle Ranch and hunting and fishing are not hobbies, they are my life. I moved to Alaska so I could hunt Brown Bears, Grizzlies, Sheep and Goats without having to be guided and without waiting to draw a permit. I worked with another Outfitter for many years and now hunt many of the same units and areas since he is not guiding now. The reason I do not guide more people is because I love to hunt too much for myself and spend part of my Fall and Winter bowhunting in the lower 48 states every season. Please take a look at my personal photos page, I’m very proud of them and feel they show my love of hunting. All the animals there, with the exception of the free range cape buffalo, were all unguided hunts and primarily on public land with archery equipment.

As we go into our 12th season Michelle and I welcome you to Alaska for your next outdoor adventure. The 2007 season was an excellent one and we look forward to seeing you in the future.
